Evaluation: Syllabus

The submodule “Evaluation” will discuss the importance of recognising learning objectives and the evaluation process in non-formal education.

More concretely, in this submodule, you will learn:

1. to differentiate between learning objectives based upon Bloom’s taxonomy;

2. to recognise the importance of non-formal learning;

3. to recognise the four levels in the evaluation process, also knowns as Kirkpatrick’s Four-level Model;

4. common methods to apply in an evaluation process such as questionnaires, journals, debriefs, observations and journey mapping.

The submodule contains two lessons as follows:

Lesson 1: Recognition of learning objectives

Lesson 2: Evaluation methods

The submodule will conclude with a quiz to consolidate your learning.
