Design: Syllabus

This submodule is about the design and development phase in STREAMpreneur youth work and you will have the opportunity to learn about the design and development phase in a comprehensive and in-depth way.

In detail, you will learn:

  1. the goal and the most relevant aspects of design and development
  2. to identify and assign tasks
  3. to list, procure and review resources
  4. to plan moments of reflection
  5. to review the cost-benefit ratio
  6. to complete the design and development

According to these learning objectives, the course is divided into five lessons. Each lesson includes one instructional video. Lesson 3 also includes an assignment for group discussion. The course is rounded off with a final quiz where you can check your learning. We recommend that you complete the course in the order given.

Note: The elaborations in this course are partly based on the application of the ADDIE approach in the context of STREAMpreneur. A detailed presentation of the ADDIE approach can be found in Branch, R. M. (2009). Instructional design: The ADDIE approach(Vol. 722). Springer Science & Business Media.
